Bio

I grew up in Alabama.  I graduated from Jacksonville State University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in photography and commercial design and a minor in anthropology.  After graduation, I worked with professional portraiture companies specializing in school photography.  For the past 11 years, I have photographed high school seniors and school events.

During the last 4 years, I was employed in New York working with high fashion digital retouching and photo assisting.  I traveled with Popular Photography magazine’s Mentor Series and assisted with the workshops.  I also traveled overseas to Ecuador to work with scientist and students photodocumenting endangered species and the decline of the Amazonian rain forest.  I recently moved to Florida (2008) where I can continute to expand my experience with commercial, editorial and portrait photography.  In the coming year, I will teach photography workshops and lead eco-tours.  Please frequent my site and read my blog for my upcoming events, workshops and projects.
